The Little Sugar River Farm is a vacation rental on a chemical-free farm close to two bike trails. The farm is secluded, surrounded by 2000 acres of wildlife refuge, and ideal for people who want to bike, hike, run, bird, read, and relax.
The guesthouse is less than a quarter of a mile from the 23-mile Sugar River Trail, and five miles from the Badger State Trail. Both trails wind along rivers, through rolling hills, forests, and wildlife areas.

We are on Schneeberger Rd, between Albany and Monticello Wisconsin, 25 miles drive from Madison, 15 minutes from New Glarus, and 2 hours from Chicago. For directions and a map, please click here.
Less than 30 miles from Madison (all on bike trails), the Little Sugar River Farm is ideal for cyclists and hikers. Because we are surrounded on three sides by the Albany Wildlife Area, the farm is also great for birders and anyone who wants a chance to relax. (Please note: For the month of June, we had briefly moved the guesthouse to the workshop on the right. After after feedback from guests, it's back in the original house on the left! If you have stayed here in previous years, the guesthouse is the same as during your earlier visit.)To view images, please visit the photo page. |
