The guesthouse at the Little Sugar River Farm offers you peace and seclusion on 20 acres along the Little Sugar River in southern Wisconsin. The guesthouse is ideal for couples who want to get away from the city and relax on beautiful property surrounded by wildlife areas.
The guesthouse is available for weekends or for longer stays, with accommodations for up to 6 people. The house is ideal for a romantic retreat for one couple, and quite comfortable for two or three couples.
The house includes one upstairs bedroom with a built-in, king-size bed of cherry wood and an adjacent bath with a large soaking tub for two people (with reading lamps and a skylight overhead). A second upstair bedroom with a queen-sized bed shares the upstairs bathroom.
The downstairs bedroom has a built-in, queen-size bed with a bathroom down the hall. Downstairs, the living room, dining room, and a well-equipped kitchen are part of a vaulted great room. A small but extensive library of books, magazines, CDs, and videos is available for you to use.
Formerly an organic farm, the guesthouse no longer has chickens and crops. During raspberry and apple season (August-October), guests are welcome to pick from the orchard. When the asparagus are ripe in May, they are also available.
Because we're close to two bike trails that run through wetlands and forests, biking, hiking, and birding are some of our guests' favorite activities. Winter stays offer the possibility of cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, or simply relaxing by the wood stove with a good book.
Please book by visiting our AirBnB or VRBO site--or call Frank directly at 608-852-3648 (saving on the service fees charged by the large companies)..
